Anne started her journey into the health and fitness arena In 1989 when she first qualified as an ITEC and NCEF gym instructor and exercise music teacher. She set up her own circuit training classes and when she later gained a Reebok step teacher qualification, she traveled around south Dublin teaching step aerobic classes. She qualified as Personal Trainer through the NCEF in conjunction with the University of Limerick 1995. Subsequently, Anne ran a very successful Personal Training business in South County Dublin from 1995 to 2010 when she opened her Pilates Studio in Roundwood Co Wicklow. Anne first qualified as a Pilates trainer with Bodyfirm Pilates in 2002 having been introduced to Pilates through rehabilitation following injury to her neck, shoulder and low back in a car accident. She was so impressed with the amazing results from her daily Pilates routine that she went on to train as a trainer.
She has completed numerous courses and continues her education to bring the very best and latest to her clients in this fantastic technique. She has added Pilates for Golf, Pilates for Pregnancy, Pilates for Older Populations and Pilates Reformer. Over the years Anne has completed her fully comprehensive Pilates Training on all the apparatus between Ireland and the US. She also holds qualifications in Kettlebells instruction through London Kettlebells. She has completed her Pilates Barre training with Bodyfirm Pilates and Barre Concept UK. Anne has a personal interest in hypermobility and completed a course on Hypermobility “Thinking outside the box” in 2017. She has recently added NCPT qualification from the Pilates Method Alliance National Pilates Certification Program in the US.
